Our Facilities

Our Spaces

  • Church

    Description

A beautiful space (featured on our home page) facing a large bright full length window at the front of the sanctuary behind the communion table. A central aisle and two smaller aisles on either side.

The church has hosted plays, musicals, concerts and all variety of performances. The sanctuary area is raised and can be completely cleared to provide a stage for shows or musical groups.

  • Crèche

At the rear of the space adjacent to the AV desk is a crèche that may be used by parents with young children who need some quiet time away from the main congregation or a place to change nappies, etc. From the crèche people can look into the main body of the church as well as hear the service piped to them from a speaker installed on the wall. There are toys for children to play with and low comfortable chairs. You are welcome to use this space as you choose.

  • Falder Hall

Downstairs on the ground floor the Falder Hall is a highly flexible room that can be used for any occasion. It adjoins the kitchen via a counter top that can be closed by a roller shutter when not in use.

  • Soons/Taylor Rooms

The Soons and Taylor rooms are a single space that may be divided into two spaces by drawing across a flexible division. Most commonly they are used together as a single room for bible study and similar smaller meetings that do not require the use of the Falder Hall.

Some access is available to the kitchen via a small server hatch.

  • Office

The church has an office with a desk, photocopier, etc. The office has an administrative function and is not usually hired by the public but is sometimes used as a break out room, for meetings of the Leadership Team, etc.

    Capacity

Up to 15 (10 in comfort).

  • Kitchen

The church has a large well maintained kitchen specifically installed for catering to large groups. Tea and coffee are served here as well as whole meals, such as for harvest supper.

    CAPACITY

All of the following are available: oven, dishwasher, refrigerator (under bench), urns, pots and pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, etc. There are also a number of serving trays and trolleys.

  • Toilets

The church has men's and ladies' toilets and a separate disabled toilet. Note that there is no showering or bathing facility on the premises.

    CAPACITY

Men's (three standing, one sitting), ladies' (three) and disabled (one).

    ACCESS AND SPECIAL NEEDS

All toilets are on the ground floor near the entrance and easily accessible.

  • Parking

The church has a small carpark with limited places available. Additional (paid) parking is available in the surrounding streets and nearby council carparks. Being a resident helps.

There are only 12 car parking spaces including one that is marked "Reserved" for the minister or local preacher, plus one designated disabled parking space.
